Why Brightlight Immigration

Why Choose an RCIC Who Knows British Columbia's Immigration System

British Columbia offers some of Canada's strongest immigration pathways, but navigating BC PNP, Express Entry, and IRCC's shifting rules alone is risky. One documentation error or missed deadline can cost you everything.

Questions About Immigration Consultations Across BC Ask Us Most

Verify their registration on the CICC public register before paying anyone for advice. Brightlight Immigration's RCIC is Loveneet Paneswar, licence number R522969, verifiable directly at cicc-ccic.ca. Under Canadian law, only a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, a licensed lawyer, or a Quebec notary may legally charge a fee for immigration advice if anyone else is operating as an unlicensed "ghost consultant." Check the register before you pay.

BC PNP is British Columbia's own route to permanent residency, run separately from the federal Express Entry system. A BC PNP nomination adds 600 points to your Express Entry CRS score, enough to secure an invitation in the next draw. Streams exist for skilled workers, healthcare professionals, and international graduates with a qualifying BC job offer. Book a free assessment to confirm which stream fits.

Yes, a refusal does not permanently close your options. Brightlight has handled refusal and reapplication cases for clients across BC, including applicants from India, the Philippines, and Nigeria. What matters most is understanding the exact refusal reason ties to the home country, financial evidence, or purpose of visit and addressing it directly in a stronger, better-documented reapplication before you resubmit anything to IRCC.

Both are legally authorized to provide paid immigration advice in Canada. An RCIC is licensed by the CICC specifically for immigration matters, while a lawyer is licensed by a provincial law society for broader legal work. For most applications Express Entry, work permits, study permits, BC PNP - a licensed RCIC is fully qualified to represent you. Federal Court matters may require a lawyer instead.

Both options are fully available to BC clients. Many complete their entire immigration process by phone and email without ever visiting an office in person. Our team is available Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday by appointment, welcoming clients from every region of British Columbia. Complex or refused cases often benefit most from an initial face-to-face review.

Fees vary by case type and complexity, but Brightlight separates every cost clearly before you pay: consultation fees, professional fees, government fees paid directly to IRCC, and any third-party costs such as language tests. A free immigration consultation is available to every BC applicant. A paid initial consultation with an RCIC offers a more detailed profile review if you want one before committing to full service.

Your options include an extension, a change to a different work permit type, or restoration if your status has already lapsed, and the right one depends on your employer, NOC code, and PR eligibility, including BC PNP. Brightlight has prepared applications with as little as four days before expiry and still secured approval. Book a free assessment before your window closes any further.

A PFL means IRCC has a specific concern and is giving you a chance to respond before deciding your case. The response window is typically 30 days, and the quality of that response directly shapes the outcome. Brightlight handles PFL responses for BC clients across every application type, from visitor and study to work and PR. Contact us immediately if you receive one.

Let's Get Your File Moving
