From Your Free Immigration Assessment to Your Final Decision

Every client starts with a conversation, whether by phone or at our Surrey office. Here is what happens from that point forward.

Questions Our Vancouver Clients Ask Us Most

Verify their registration on the CICC public register before paying for any advice. Brightlight Immigration's RCIC is Loveneet Paneswar, licence number R522969, verifiable directly at cicc-ccic.ca. Under Canadian law, only a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, a licensed lawyer, or a Quebec notary may legally charge a fee for immigration advice. Check the register before you pay anyone.

BC PNP is British Columbia's own route to permanent residency, separate from the federal Express Entry system. A BC PNP nomination adds 600 points to your Express Entry CRS score, enough to secure an invitation in the next draw. Streams exist for skilled workers, healthcare professionals, and tech workers with a qualifying Vancouver-area job offer. Book a free assessment to confirm which stream fits.

Yes. We prepare study permit applications, extensions, and DLI transfers for students at UBC, SFU, BCIT, and other Vancouver institutions. Once you graduate from an eligible program, you may qualify for a Post-Graduation Work Permit valid for up to 3 years. Eligibility depends on your program length and your school's DLI status. Book a free assessment before your study permit is set to expire.

Both are legally authorized to provide paid immigration advice in Canada. An RCIC is licensed by the CICC specifically for immigration matters, while a lawyer is licensed by a provincial law society for broader legal work. For Express Entry, work permits, study permits, and BC PNP, a licensed RCIC is fully qualified to represent you. Federal Court matters may require a lawyer instead.

Our only physical office is in Surrey, so most Vancouver clients complete their entire process by phone and email without ever visiting in person. If you prefer a face to face review, particularly for a complex or refused case, you are welcome to book an appointment at our Surrey office at any time.

Fees vary by case type and complexity, but Brightlight separates every cost clearly before you pay: consultation fees, professional fees, government fees paid directly to IRCC, and any third-party costs such as language tests. A free initial assessment is available to every Vancouver applicant, with a paid RCIC consultation available for a more detailed profile review.

Your options include an extension, a change to a different work permit type, or restoration if your status has already lapsed, and the right choice depends on your employer, your NOC code, and your PR eligibility, including BC PNP. Vancouver's tech sector often qualifies for category-based Express Entry draws. Book a free assessment before your window closes further.

A Procedural Fairness Letter means IRCC has a specific concern and is giving you a chance to respond before deciding your case. The response window is typically 30 days, and the quality of your response directly shapes the outcome. Brightlight handles PFL responses for Vancouver clients across every application type. Contact us immediately if you receive one.

Let's Move Your File Forward
